It will be just a 2 days 1 night trip with my family as we were afraid of getting caught in a jam on Sunday when we head back to Singapore.So I have decided that we start off early on 1st May and get back on the 2nd before it gets crowded on Sunday.
Had our breakfast Kampar Chee Cheong Fun @ Restoran Kampar CS in Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru.

We didn't like it because the noodles and curry was too thick in comparison to the original Kampar Chee Cheong fun.
We reached the waterfall before noon via Kota Tinggi.
They charged RM7.50 for Adult , RM3.50 for Children and RM3 for car . Not forgetting there is an additional 6% GST charge.
Due to long weekend it was crowded at the waterfall. The water was not clear and a bit murky. Possibly due to the rain in last few days. We did not stay too long as we have no plan to get into the water. There were some water slides at the gate and you can rent floating tubes there .The crowd started to grow after noon and we decided to leave for Kota Tinggi for our lunch .
Next Stop Tanjung Balau Public Beach. Free public beach but need to pay RM1 for car park. It has quite a wide sandy beach. The beach was crowded. Car park was filled. Furthermore there was a carnival on the beach. I guess it is always the case during holidays.
Next, dinner at Sungai Rengit You Kees restaurant after check in into Millenium hotel. This Hotel seriously need some renovation. Fortunately we only stayed for 1 night. No choice since all other hotels were fully booked.
The 2 butter fried lobsters alone cost RM127 inclusive GST. There was suppose to be 4 pieces cuz I ate one before I remember to take the picture. I liked the lobster but a bit expensive at RM18 per 100g.
We were slightly late for dinner. It was quarter to 9 when we got to the restaurant and was the last table order for the day. They have decided to stop orders. We were fortunate to be able to order our dinner. They turned a way a few customers who came after us. It was a bit uncomfortable eating while the restaurant staff started to clean up.

2nd day morning breakfast at Sin Yuan Restaurant. Tried the Wan Tan noodles and Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun. The Wan Tan noodles was too soft for my liking.
It was packed with Singaporean Bikers.
After Breakfast we drove along the Jalan Teluk Rumania and decided to make a stop at Chalet D' Punggai at Tanjung Punggai.
It was a camping site and there was RM5 charge per car.
Nice beach but need some clean up. Too many irresponsible beach goers who just leave their rubbish behind.
We decided to head back to Johor Jaya for our lunch. Coincidentally the restaurant name was You Kee XO. I guess it has something to do with fengshui for using "You Kee". It is located at 83, Jalan Dedap 7. Heard they have another 2 branches at Tmn Ungku Aminah and Taman Impian.
Love the crispy roasted pork belly and the BBQ crystal Char Siew. Also ordered Claypot eggplant & Petai.
Tasty herbal soup of the day. The lunch in total set us back about RM56. I think it is a reasonable price.
Ok that the end of our 2 days short trip. Next we have to make our way back to Singapore but first need to drop my Malaysian car at a relative place. Later, make our way back by taxi and bus.
